There is another brew pub in Superior called Thirsty Pagan http://www.thirstypaganbrewing.com/<br />I&#39;m checking that out on Saturday. The atmosphere is really the seller there (I need to do an &quot;official&quot; review.) I think the beer is decent, but its the setting that makes it so cool. After Fitger&#39;s and NG, it would have been a slight let down...especially if we were going to have to really make room for it.<br />It is definitely worth a visit though, if I could own a brew pub, it would be in that building! When it comes to Fitgers and NG it really is hard to go wrong. I would argue right along with you that Fitgers is the BEST brewpub in the state. Wildfire is something else. I always ask for a sampler of that (and rarely finish it) just to get that WOW factor. Intense. So, being in Hayward, did you guys get to the Angry Minnow?
